After three years of annual pattern collections for my calendar, I've set up a textile shop with Spoonflower! I've loved sharing these designs with you over the years, and now you can purchase your favorite Love Nest original patterns on a variety of fabrics, wallpapers, and home goods.
It’s rejuvenating to see these patterns I’ve stared at for so long take on a new form! It’s all feeling very full circle, as I entered this field with an interior design background and a passion for pattern play. Now I can explore with my own prints, and you can, too!
About Spoonflower
Spoonflower provides premium wallpaper, fabric, and home decor, printed on demand with unique designs from independent artists worldwide. Using eco-friendly digital printing, they use water-based pigment inks and dyes for printing, minimizing waste and prioritizing responsibly sourced fabrics and recycled materials right here in the USA. Each purchase supports artists like me, who earn a 10% royalty with each sale.
Each month, Spoonflower hosts design challenges with cash prizes for the top 10 entries. I’ve been throwing my hat in the ring whenever I can, and I love the quick challenge of a hyper specific pattern theme. I'm currently working on a Winter Holiday Patchwork entry that I'll use as 2025's December calendar pattern.
I love seeing my patterns play together. When I feel there’s something missing from a particular palette, I’m inspired to make something new. I’m going into year four of my annual pattern collections, and it’s all about the bridge—finding a way to join past styles with something fresh.

If I could sell you on one item, it's my Birthday Cake tablecloth. It's a memory maker, this one. A special linen tradition, just for birthdays! My family has loved setting the table for the special birthdays, and a birthday cake has never looked better than on top of this tablecloth.
"Birthday Cake" is available in hot pink, mustard, and forest green, in both rectangle and round dimensions. Want to see more colorways? Leave me a comment with your suggestions!
The work is never done.
Here's hoping this Spoonflower shop is only the beginning of my textile journey. And while I love the quality and creative freedom that Spoonflower offers, I'm not entirely satisfied with the price point. As an independent artist, I'm always on the lookout for better deals that benefit both my customers and me.
With each pattern release, I play a wishful game of “how would I use this print if I had unlimited resources?” Gift wrap! Hand-stitched embroidery! Custom carpet! Grasscloth wallpaper in a luxury hotel bathroom! I want to see my patterns on everything one day, and now I’ve found a way to bring some of these wishes to life.
Eventually, I hope to license my patterns to manufacturers and fabric companies, making my designs more accessible and affordable for everyone. Until then, you can count on my annual calendar release and my evergrowing Spoonflower shop to have a piece of Love Nest in your home.
